Crimson Peak Crimson Peak is obviously a volcano. It isn't very tall, only about 3,000 meters at its tallest point, but the volcano itself is still huge, stretching about 5 kilometers in each direction. Crimson Peak is considered a shield volcano and has quick-flowing lava, which can be seen in low-lying streams even when it isn't actively erupting. It is a favorite spot for fire type pokemon. Moors of Chord Several medium-sized hills surround an area of wide open moorlands, which end abruptly as a particularly large hill rises up in the center of the moorland, atop of which the city of Kloudecord lies. Grasses and shrubbery are dominant in the moor, and travellers must be wary of the holes of burrowing pokemon, as it is common to trip and sprain an ankle when one isn't looking where one is going. During the rainy season, the Moors of Chord are known to flood, especially after a particularly large storm. When these floods do occur, rare water type pokemon are occasionally seen, though no one knows where exactly they come from or how they know when to flock to the moors. Swooping Forest Thickly-leaved deciduous trees make up the majority of the vegetation of Swooping Forest. Hundred-year-old oak and maple trees create a strong natural barrier to the large swampland that the forest surrounds. Swooping Forest derives its name from the hundreds of Swoobat that swarm to the forest in the spring and summer time, when the dark and dense forest creates a safe roosting place for the nesting mothers. Grand Swamp This area appears to be exactly how one would believe for a swamp to look like. Many tall grasses and a few trees thrive with the high amount of moisture in both the ground and air, even though the muddy ground tends to suffocate the smaller plants that try to break through. One has to be careful in traversing this area, as one can easily get stuck in the mud if one deviates from a specific, safe path. On the edge of the swamp an outpost has been built for this reason, inhabited by rangers from Phantasy who have made it their profession to guide travelers through the gloomy wastes.
