Route 14Few but the most hardened trainers dare to travel to the fiery Crimson Peak, and Route 14 allows them access to the heated volcano. The route is not very green, just short, tough grasses that catch the ash falling from Crimson Peak. Few short, scraggly trees dot the landscape, despite the fertile soil, not many trees are tough enough to survive the heat from the volcano.

Route 15While the steep cliffs of the volcano have subsided, the hot air emanating from it still wafts over these plains. Only few plants are able to grow in the hot, dry ground, which has cracked from the lack of water. Some rocks that have rolled from Crimson Peak are lying around here, although they are quickly being erroded by the hot winds coupled with the cold nights. Due to this the ground is covered in a mixture of sand and ash, keeping track of the footprints of any traveler who traverses these plains, on their way to the Moors of Chord.

Route 16A grassy, brightly-lit path leads away from Kloudecord, through the Moors of Chord and past a short section of grasslands before entering a darker, forested area as it nears the Swooping Forest to the south. Route 16 is a winding path, leading over hills and around several small lakes on its path towards the Swooping Forest. Trainers often take it easy on this sunny path, stopping along the way to catch the abundant grass type pokemon that frequent the grassy areas around the route.

Route 17As one travels farther south of the Grand Swamp and the Swooping forest, the ground turns more marshy than swampy, the earth turning muddy and the water receding as it is soaked up by the vegetation surrounding Route 17. As the route winds closer to the Southern Sea, the earthy soil fades into more a sandy composition, until one reaches the southern beaches of Harmony.
