The sun was beginning to set on the horizon, the day settling into evening in preparation for a chilly autumn night. Summer however, was not settling down. She and Soleila were still high of spirit off their first victory together as a team, and against an actual trainer. Summer just had too much energy to find a place to rest right now, though Soleila was beginning to doze off every now and then as she didn't have to keep walking, riding on Summer's head as always.
All of a sudden, Summer came to a halt, an idea formulating in her mind.
"Hey, lei-lei?" she asked, testing to see if the Larvesta was still up and about. Soleila replied with a small noise, Summer smiling.
"Would you argue with doing a little training before we find a place to camp?" she asked. After all, even though they had won their battle, they needed to keep building on their strength. And after all, what better time to do it than when they were still confident about their abilities.
The Larvesta didn't seem to have any complaint, even leaping off of Summer's head to land on the ash covered ground. She gave a small noise of cheer that sounded very much to Summer like an agreement.
"Alright!" she cheered, a grin on her face, "How about first things first we test out different ways to use that String Shot of yours?" she suggested.
Soleila stood for a moment in thought, before she mischievously looked up at Summer. Before the red haired teen could ask what the Larvesta was thinking, she'd fired a string shot at her trainer's legs, tying them together all of a sudden and causing her to topple over into the ash ridden undergrowth.
"Hey that's a neat tactic!" she grinned from her new place lying on the ground, brushing ash from where it had blown into her face. Soleila let out a cheerful cry of what seemed almost like laughter. Summer soon joined in, trainer and pokemon laughing alongside one another as the evening grew darker and night began to set in.
